Draws and Results
Football draws and information are available through the college sport website : www.collegesport.co.nz then click on draws and results or these can also be found on the Schools Football noticeboard (outside RR86) or on the link under draws on this page. Or check the football blog at www.tgsfootball.blog.com. You must check this noticeboard and see the blog site (address at the bottom of this sheet) at least once a week for notices and draws etc The Teams will be posted on the notice board, please check for practice times and information.
Dates for the competitions this year.
All boys grades will commence on the Saturday 11 May. The season then commences at the end of August .
The Girls Premier & Junior A competitions will commence on Wednesday 8 May, with all other grades starting on Wednesday 22 May and go to mid August. All boys teams will be playing on a Saturday morning and the girls will play on a Wednesday after school.
Gear:
All players must be wearing shin pads to take the field as per FIFA rules. Junior Teams (yr 9 + 10) will wear their P.E shirt and shorts as their strip, they will need to buy the school sport socks from the uniform shop. The Senior teams will be supplied with a strip and thus will need to pay a uniform bond (see details under the sports policies tab). This must be paid to the finance office before the students can get their uniform from the uniform shop. The Boys First XI buy their playing strip and will have named shirts and gear to keep .

URGENT!
Hello Parents of Football players.
We have had a large number of boys sign up to play football this year and I cannot provide coaches for all teams.
I am especially looking for coaches for the boys year 9 and 10 teams this year.
If there is anyone who can commit to one day a week of coaching and a Saturday morning, or a group that can job share please let me know. We will split the year 9 squad into a competitive A grade team and a more social B grade team.
Any offers of help would be greatly appreciated by the students.
If you know of anyone with coaching skills that would be able to help, please tell them to get in touch with me.

2013 Information
Hello players and parents.
I have been able to confirm some trainings and meeting times for the teams.
Boys Teams
1st XI are training on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school
Boys senor team – Your coach will be in touch next week about training times
Year 11 boys – watch the notices for your first meeting
Year 10 boys – first training will be Wednesday after school behind the gym on the football fields.
Year 9 boys – first meeting will be on Thursday after school behind the gym on the football fields.
Girls Teams
The Girls 1st XI are training regularly – See Mrs Tui’sila for info
Junior Girls ( year 9 and 10 ) not in the first or 2nd XI please meet your coaches on the sportshall deck on Thursday after school to organise the training times for the season.
Senior Girls – your coaches will be in touch in the coming week.
Games begin in week 1 or week 2 of next term.
Senior players need to get a uniform bond sheet and pay the $30 bond at the finance office, they then will be issued a uniform, at the end of the season when you bring the uniform back you will get the $30 bond back.
