TGS Badminton 2012
The secondary school badminton competition during Term 2 at North Harbour Badminton has been very successful for both teams from Takapuna Grammar.
The girls team did exceedingly well by coming 1st in their section B box against 7 other teams.
The boys also did very well by coming 3rd in their section B box against 8 other teams. Their achievements reflected their hard work during trainings which were coached by Jin Ah Kim every Wednesday morning throughout Term 2 from 7.30am - 9.30am.
Jin Ah is an esteemed national badminton player in Korea and also coaches at North Harbour Badminton so they were very lucky to be voluntarily coached by her.
Jin Ah and her husband Ki Young Lee have supported and assisted both teams to achieve their successes at this competition. We sincerely thank their dedication to our Badminton teams. Also, a big thanks to Mr Joseph and Sunny Kim for providing transportation for the girls' team to their games every Wednesday afternoons.

Badminton 2013
Season Dates:
Badminton is played on Monday or Wednesday nights during term 2 & 3.
The muster for Badminton will take place in Term 1. Fees are to be paid directly to the School Finance office before any trials, practices and placement in a team.
