Teacher Only Day Tuesday 4 June

Queen’s Birthday Mid Term Break This is a reminder that Takapuna Grammar School will be closed on Monday, 3 June for Queen’s Birthday weekend and Tuesday, 4 June for mid-term break. This is will be a teachers only day approved by the Ministry of Education for the implementation of NCEA. Students will not be required to attend school on this day.

TGS International Baccalaureate World School

Takapuna Grammar School has now been granted by the International Baccalaureate Organization the status of an IB World School. This is the first time a New Zealand state secondary school has achieved this. The school will be delivering the IB Diploma programme from 2013. Winter Uniform

Please remember that all students must wear regulation school shoes and socks for Terms 2 and 3.   These must be plain black leather polishable lace-ups with a heel of approximately 1.5 – 2cm.  Uniform regulations
