For all Year Levels:

Application forms can be collected from the School Offices at Takapuna Grammar School, Belmont Intermediate School and Takapuna Normal Intermediate School. They can also be downloaded.  Enquiries can be addressed to: email enrolments@takapuna.school.nz or telephone

Those seeking automatic entry because they reside inside the school’s zone.
Those who seek selective entry because they have a brother or sister who has attended or is attending the school.

For students seeking automatic entry applications may be made at any time. Applications should be forwarded to the school and parents will be contacted to arrange an interview appointment. The student to be enrolled must accompany at least one parent or guardian to this interview. Please bring a copy of your most recent report and other required information. School fees are payable on application.

All selective entry applications may be subject to a ballot depending on places available. Contact the School Office for information relating to each level.

IN  ZONE  ENROLMENT  EVENINGS
Enrolment interviews will be conducted in the School Library
between  4.00pm and 7.00pm on the following dates (No appointment necessary):
Thursday 29 July
Wednesday 04 August
Tuesday 10 August

Out of Zone Applications must be received by  Wednesday 01 September 2010
prior to the ballot on Monday 06 September

Please bring:
• A copy of most recent school reports
• A birth certificate or passport or other evidence that the student is entitled to a state
   education
• For students seeking automatic entry a copy of a power or telephone account, rates notice,
  purchase agreement or rental agreement which includes the bond letter from Tenancy Services
  to prove they are living in zone.

Year 10 - 13 Students:

Year 10 - 13 students are welcome to contact the Enrolments Officer to arrange an interview time at their convenience.

All Other Applications  
All other applications may be subject to a ballot depending on places available. These applications must be received by mail or in person by 4.00pm on Friday 4 September 2009. The ballot will be held on 15 September. As with all schools holding a ballot, Takapuna Grammar School, will advise applicants if they are successful or not.  Applicants who are offered a place will have 14 days to take up the offer.

Students who seek entry to the school’s Special Education Unit must first contact the Head of Special Education Michelle Brooks to arrange an interview appointment.
