The Careers and Transition resource room is available for student use before school, interval, lunchtime and after school or during class time with the teacher’s permission. It contains information about a wide range of careers and courses and is staffed by a fulltime Careers Adviser, the transition teacher and a resource centre assistant. Internet access is also available and expert advice and assistance aid students in their choices of tertiary education and employment opportunities. Regular seminar sessions are held and assistance is also available in writing CVs, seeking work experience, applying for scholarships or Halls of residence and making application to tertiary institutions. A resident Justice of the Peace can also legally certify documents should this be required.
