IN  ZONE  ENROLMENT  EVENINGS
Enrolment interviews will be conducted in the School Library between 4.00pm and 7.00pm on the following dates (No appointment necessary):
Thursday 29 July
Wednesday 04 August
Tuesday 10 August

Out of Zone Applications must be received by  Wednesday 01 September 2010 prior to the ballot on Monday 06 September


Enrolment Scheme
Takapuna Grammar School has an enrolment scheme.  Therefore students may make application to enrol under 2 categories:

 Automatic Entry:  Students who live within the school zone (refer to the map) may enrol at the school as of right providing that they:

• have entitlement to a state education.  Information relating to this entitlement may be found on www.immigration.govt.nz.  For this evidence such as a New Zealand passport, a New Zealand passport, or the appropriate visa will be required.
• have not been excluded from another school.
• can produce evidence of that they are living with a parent or guardian.  This will take the form of a power bill or telephone bill.
  
  All applications must be made on the appropriate forms and be accompanied by the additional information required.  When applications are received the parent or guardian will be contacted and an interview appointment made with a Senior Manager.  Students will commence school at a time to be arranged by the Dean.  School fees are payable on application.

2.      Selective Entry:  All other students will be considered for enrolment under this category.  Places may be allocated according to availability at the various levels.  These places will take into account the priority order determined by the Ministry of Education.  They are

• Brothers and sisters of existing students
• Brothers and sisters of former students
• Employees of the Board of Trustees of Takapuna Grammar School
• Other

All applications must be made on the appropriate forms and be accompanied by the additional information required.  When applications are approved for processing the parent or guardian will be contacted and an interview appointment made with a Senior Manager.  School fees are payable on application.
