Takapuna Grammar School is proud of its history and widely recognised reputation for academic excellence and student achievement. Being the only Grammar school on the North Shore, Auckland, it has a special place in the academic community of Auckland and New Zealand.
History records the names of many who have achieved well in their education at Takapuna Grammar School and progressed to significant careers and achievements, providing a legacy of world class achievement and performance.

We currently have students performing at the highest levels of assessment in New Zealand and beyond. NCEA results and international qualifications recognise and support the fact that Takapuna Grammar School is a high performing academic school.
